Q System

Q System is a queue system for clinics and other places where people wait to be seen.

Reception registers the patient or visitor — whether they booked online, called, wrote on WhatsApp or walked in — and places them in one queue. They receive a notification with a private code, and with that code they can open their queue information at any time: their number and where the queue stands. Waiting stays a human process; the system removes the uncertainty around it. As their turn approaches, a WhatsApp message tells the patient it is time to come in, so nobody has to keep asking reception who is next. Reception and the doctor work from the same live queue: who has arrived, who is waiting and who is next. The patient knows where they stand, reception stops answering the same question, and the doctor sees the day as it moves.
